Hopkins Verbal Learning Task (HVLT)

A list of 12 items from three semantic categories is presented across three trials, followed by recognition testing. A modification of the original HVLT provides for an assessment of delayed recall prior to recognition in order to assess forgetting over time.

The revised version was administered in 7T Behavioral Protocol for all time points. See packets.

DM was here at the time, and we had put a bunch of hippocampal-relevant stuff in. i think it also gets used in schizophrenia research a bunch. but definitely more verbal memory than the type of cognitive learning we'd usually be interested in
