https://www.globus.org/globus-connect is a `GridFTP` service that can "connect many different storage types to transfer and share data." 

It's useful for getting data to and from [[:tools:crc]]. 

''rsync'' might be a better choice for [[:tools:psc]], but globus is a good solution for transfer lots of data there too.

At Pitt, a Sharepoint folder can be a globus endpoint.
