Qualtrics is a web platform for distributing and administering digital surveys to participants. It's used for [[:grants:7t:survey]] and habit, replaced with [[:tools:redcap]] for [[:grants:spa:behavioral]] and Y2 onward for [[:grants:habit:behavioral]].

===== Creating Accounts =====
Free accounts (e.g. @upmc.edu) collaborate with the surveys owned by the main pitt account.

Use single sign on authentication through Pitt (see [[https://my.pitt.edu/task/all/qualtrics|pitt instructions]]) from [[https://pitt.qualtrics.com]]

==== Entering Collaboration Codes for Ongoing Projects ====
Get in touch with Nathan to send collaboration codes to your work email. 

Qualtrics will want you to Create a New Project on your own before you're able to enter collaboration codes. 
  * First, log into your new Qualtrics account 
  * Click on Create a new project 
  * Select Survey (From Scratch) and Get Started 
  * Name it "New Project" and then proceed with Create Project (you can delete this later sine you won't need it)
  * Qualtrics will give you a short tutorial on how to navigate the page. Once you're done with that, click XM on the top left-hand corner of your screen to go back to the home page. 
  * You are now able to collaborate with others! Click on "See all projects". 
  * Click on "(+) Enter Collaboration Code" 
  * Copy and paste collaboration codes sent to your work email (get in touch with Nathan if you haven't yet)
  * Ensure all current projects are added to your Qualtrics account. You can always see them on the "Shared with me" tab.
